We're so excited that you're here!

Here are a few suggestions to help you experience Westport Harbor, Mass! We've listed a few of our favorite spots to grab food and spend the day...

ESSENTIALS (Groceries & Booze)

  • Lee’s Grocery Store and Liquor Store  (LINK)

  • Adamsville Liquor (LINK)

COFFEE

  • Gray’s Daily Grind (LINK): Tory’s Grandfather’s Coffee Shop. A GEM (if we do say so ourselves). Grab a coffee by the pond in Adamsville. Don’t leave without a tour of the Grist Mill— The oldest grist mill in the country!! If you want to try their Jonny Cakes, head to The Barn for breakfast!

BREAKFAST & LUNCH:

  • The Barn: Classic sit-down spot. A personal fave. Get the Jhonny Cakes for the table :)

  • Simmons Market (Link) (Breakfast and Lunch): “Deli-Style” food. To-Go or To-Stay-there's a hidden seating area in the back.

  • Groundswell (LINK): Trendy cafe and Garden center- located in 'The Four Corners'. Makes a fun morning or afternoon outting!

  • Partner’s Village Store (link) Cute local gift shop with a delicious cafe serving up breakfast & lunch.

  • Westport Sea Farms: (Lunch) (LINK) it's a bit of a drive if you are staying in the Harbor (10 - 15 mins) but they have the best lobster rolls & oysters around and great drinks on the water. Casual and outside dining.

  • The Bay Side: also a bit of a drive if you are staying in the Harbor. But a beautiful drive and great food!

DINNER:

  • The Back Eddy (LINK): Call ahead and make a reservation, especially if you want to eat outside. We suggest a seat on the floating dock if you have the option!

  • The Westporter (LINK): Our favorite farm-to-table style restaurant. The menu changes almost every day and the food is bomb! Outdoor and indoor seating areas. Full bar. Cute local spot with full bar.

  • Bitter Sweet Farms (LINK) Sit in the tavern downstairs. Pub style cozy bar.

  • Small Town Grill: (LINK) quiet dinner spot with good food.

TAKE-OUT:

“Use Doordash” For Delivery in The Harbor (good luck haha)

  • Ten Cousins (LINK): Great Pizza

  • A1 Pizza (LINK

RECREATIONAL

  • Tennis & Golf: Available at the Acoaxet Club! You can call the Pro Shop to make a tee time or to reserve a court. We have opened it up to our guests!

  • Walking Paths and Beach Walks:

    • “The Loop” (LINK): The classic square loop of the harbor. Drive it first!

    • “Point of Rocks” (LINK): Climb to the top for the coolest birds eye view of the harbor. OR just walk along the beaches! Head either direction from here, you cant go wrong!

    • Elephant Rock Beach Club (LINK): It’s off-season, so feel free to park in the lot and walk along the beach! If you take a left when you hit the beach you can walk all the way to Point Of Rocks. Very cool walk!

    • Brayton Point Rd: One of my all-time favorite roads to walk down! Farms, horses, cows & beaches (at the end). Park at The Acoaxet Club and walk over to begin the walk. If you get to the end of Brayton Point there are gorgeous views of the ocean!

RECREATIONAL (PLUS BOOZE) & Light Shopping

  • Carolyn’s Sakonnet Vineyards:  (LINK) Beautiful vineyard about 20 mins from Harbor. Very close to The 4 Corners.. Making it a great outing! Head to Groundswell for Lunch and shopping and then hit the vineyard!

  • Buzzards Bay Brewery: (LINK) Opposite direction from Sakonnet Vineyards (above). But very close to Westport Vineyards (below). Both are great local spots! Check their site for live music outside.

  • Westport Vineyard: (Link) TBH not the best wine (shhh). But beautiful spot and right next door to the brewery!

  • Four Corners: Shopping, food, and a pretty drive!
